Teaching art is my passion!
Art has always been a deep passion of mine, so it was a natural choice to attend Art College and pursue a career doing what I love most. What I didn’t expect was how much I would grow to love teaching as well. My very first job after college was as an Art Director and Teacher in an after-school program for students with disabilities. In that role, I developed a brand-new art curriculum for the agency and had the opportunity to teach the very classes I created. To my surprise, I discovered that I enjoyed working with children just as much, if not more, than creating art itself. There is truly no better feeling than watching a student realize their own potential.
Over the years, I’ve found that designing creative lesson plans and sharing my love of art are my greatest strengths. I feel incredibly fortunate to have combined both passions into a fulfilling career. Today, I am a self-employed art teacher, and I love developing engaging classes and workshops for children of all ages.
"My favorite moments are when I witness a child’s confidence grow as they create something they never thought possible. Through art, children learn to think outside the box, solve problems, focus deeply, and express themselves in meaningful and unexpected ways."
