We Were Born to Createâ„¢
Art has always been more than a hobby for me—it's been a lifelong passion. After earning my degree in illustration, I began my career as an Art Director and teacher in an after-school program for students with disabilities. There, I developed a new art curriculum and discovered that I loved helping people experience the joy of creating while uncovering abilities they never realized they had.
For more than 10 years, I've had the privilege of teaching drawing and painting through weekly classes, seasonal workshops, and private events. Time and again, I've watched students exceed their own expectations—a child who lacked confidence proudly carrying home a finished painting, or someone who once believed, "I can't draw," discovering they can.
I believe we were born to create. When we create, confidence grows, excitement builds, and we discover new ways to express ourselves as our ideas come to life. Those moments don't happen by accident. They happen when students are encouraged, challenged, and given the right tools to succeed.
My goal as an art educator is to share that experience with every student. Whether someone is picking up a pencil for the first time or refining skills they've been developing for years, I want them to leave with more than a finished piece of artwork. I want them to leave believing they are capable of creating something they never thought possible.
"Nothing brings me more joy than watching a child realize they're capable of creating something they never thought possible. Through art, children build confidence, strengthen creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and discover they're capable of far more than they imagined."

Drawing
August-May School Year
Every great artist begins with a single line. Students choose to work in graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, or pastel pencil while progressing at their own pace through projects designed to strengthen artistic skills and build confidence. Every completed project is another opportunity to discover what they're capable of.

August-May School Year
Bring ideas to life with watercolor and gouache in a fun, encouraging environment where creativity can flourish. Students begin with confidence-building projects and gradually develop new painting skills as they take on more detailed artwork. Along the way, they'll build confidence while creating paintings they're proud to display.
